Nemesis The Warlock
Story:
In Whitechapel's London Britannia Torquemada, known as 'The Phantom', is secretly using alien energy in order to sustain a physical body. Nemesis, Ro-Jaws are on their way to the Eagle in Whitechapel where Torquemada, Starblower and Ursa (presented as members of the 'Hell-Fire' club, a secret society of young Goths sworn to overthrow the old regime) discuss their next move. Meanwhile, the Ion Duke has finally stated the war with Thermight and he has ordered the high space fleet to leave its base and do battle towards Mafeking. As Torquemada in an access of rage tries to exterminate alone all of the Eagle's customers, Nemesis enters the premises (5 pages).Comments:
Bryan Talbot will take over the art for this arc from this strip right to its end. The Eighteenth Century 'Hell-Fire' club secret society is a concept that Pat Mills will re-use numerous times (in Marshal law and Requiem Vampire Knight for example).Other publishing form:
