Excerpt from the acknowledgements: "Once Denise Mina had created the story framework, Pat Mills worked with her to set up a series of chapter themes within the bigger narrative arc [..]. Meanwhile Hannah Berry and Kate Charlesworth worked closely together with Denise to develop the characters, and to create the iconic design of [...] the sky farm and its surrounding shanty town".
The story is divided in 6 chapter, each one written and drawn by a different team. Pat Mills and Hannah Berry are in charged of the opening chapter (22 pages).
The launch of the book was part of the events organized during 2014's Edinburgh International Book Festival as the Graphic Novel itself is a partnership between Freight Books and the festival.
