Moonchild (UK Market)

Moonchild was the first leading strip of Misty magazine, a weekly UK girl comics (don't hesitate to go to the Misty blog for more detailed information).
This is how the story, created by Pat Mills and Wilf Prigmore, is described in the Rebellion 2016 collected edition:

Like her grandmother before her, Rosemary Black has discovered that she has the power to move things with her mind. A crescent shape on her forehead marks Rosemary as the Moonchild. While her jealous mother forbids her to use her new found abilities, the actions of a school bully push Ms Black closer and closer towards temptation and revenge.

The strip was written in thirteenth parts and published accordingly:
  • Moonchild part 1 (Misty #1, February 4 1978)
  • Moonchild part 2 (Misty #2, February 11 1978)
  • Moonchild part 3 (Misty #3, February 18 1978)
  • Moonchild part 4 (Misty #4, February 25 1978)
  • Moonchild part 5 (Misty #5, March 4 1978)
  • Moonchild part 6 (Misty #6, March 11 1978)
  • Moonchild part 7 (Misty #7, March 18 1978)
  • Moonchild part 8 (Misty #8, March 25 1978)
