Ro-Busters

Story:

In the robot night club Gottlieb arrived to inform our Ro-busters that a vehicle is ready to take all of them to the spacesport. But the RIP P.D. Troopers begin their raid so they have to hide backstage and Ro-Jaws and Hammerstein are forced to go on stage to escape the curiosity of the police. Gottlieb is arrested and savagely beaten by the cops. That's too much to bear for Hammerstein so he steps up (6 pages).

Comments:

That strip was advertised as 'Da Big Bust!' the week before. Another reference to 'C3PO is a hume' on the night club wall (plus Robbie the robot from 'Forbidden Planet').

A Charlie star pin-up drawn by Dave Gibbons was published in this prog (see below) with cameos of Dave Gibbons and Pat Mill at the center (their respective hair colors is more recognizable on the recolored cover of  The Complete Nuts and Bolts Volume 2 hardcover reprint), as well as Isaac Asimov on the far left.
