Story:
'Waterloo' is the last bridge standing in London, and is currently been loaded with explosives by the Volgan squad guarding it. If they succeed the Hammersteins will not be able to reach the inner city. Bill Savage decides to take another suicide mission as he drives a rigged car towards the blockhouse. A second team following him finally manage to take the bridge (6 pages).Comments:
In this strip and the previous one, we witness one of warfare lesson which is to dehumanised his opponent in order to be able to kill him without hesitation. Another nice touch by Pat Mills when he evokes ex-leaders that use their ex-status to charge "thousands of Dollars in the States for after-dinner speeches'. There is also a reference to the British metal band 'Cradle of Filth' in this strip (Dani Filth and Pat Mills have been once in touch to do a common project).
