Ro-Busters

Story:

'The Big Lie': the Navy has been called up to destroyed Charlie. They are instructed by Quartz to lure him by sending a distress signal to Charlie in order to kill the robot at sea. And soon naval guns manage to sink Charlie to the sea-bed. But the truth eventually comes out and in the aftermath of the disaster, Ro-Busters shares dropped to one credit, which means Howard Quartz could be ruined. Several weeks later during a storm, Charlie emerges from the depth and reaches the shore with the help of singing people of Northpool (7 pages).

Comments:

Definitely one of the most moving and sensitive strip written by Pat Mills. The Navy destroyer is called the H.M.S. 'Nemesis'.
