Ro-Busters

Story:

'Out': so it happens that Ro-Jaws has learnt his bad manners during his time in prison. Now, after doing their time, Ro-Jaws and Ginger are released from prison and have to report to the robo-exchange for work. On their way they barely escaped a human mob lynching and they are saved at the lat minute by Georges Washington, an human lookalike android, leader of the robot resistance. At the robot-exchange Ginger is hired by a removal firm and Ro-Jaws is assigned to a grave digger job. One day, he meets again George Washington and his robot rebel gang during a bank robbery and he helps them to escape the police through the sewer (6 pages).

Comments:

At the robot-exchange a droid is assigned to Ro-Busters, and two policemen have to force him to go (it's meant to be worse than prison'). Pat Mills depicts in that story a world were robots are treated badly by humans, sometimes even with hatred and inhumanity.
