Story:
'The Eve of Destruction': for fifteen years, the first thing ships always saw from the sea as they approached Northpool was the beloved giant ship's pilot robot Charlie. But with the coming of 'mamoths' jets, the days of big ships are over, and leader of the Northpool concil, Ron Murdoch, needs to demolish the harbour in order to build a new vast aerospace port. Howard Quarts is happy to lend a hand with his special squad of Terra-Meks, huge mechanical robot beasts specialised in destruction (and programmed to enjoy it). The last chance of people of Northpool, who will be relocated in underground buildings after their homes will be crushed, is to convince Charlie to help them stop the Terra-Meks (6 pages).Comments:
