Story:

Hammerstein crashes back to earth just in time to attend a human officer funeral that have died of 'volgan war syndrome'. It is explained that the VWS was caused by radiation of atomic weapon, even these officer didn't actually put foot on the battleground where droids were slaughtered. Details of the mission given to him by UN SG are still kept secret except it will involve a war to end all war. Afterward, Hammerstein tries to prevent unemployed war droids to enter a demobilisation center where he knows for a fact that they will be melted instead of re-programmed. Sadly the war droids turned against him (6 pages).
