Story:
Hammerstein eventually managed to explain to his fellow veteran what's waiting for them in the demobilization center, but they still have to escape human soldiers using weapons specifically designed to deal with A.B.C. war droids. Meanwhile, the UN SG has a meeting with the american ambassador that has brought along Howard Quartz, brother of the president and CEO of the richest corporation in the USA. The latter, creator of the demob station, is lobbying at the UN against Mya Cho Nyunt because as a robot manufacturer he wants to be able to create new generation of ABC warriors (6 pages).Comments:
A full B&W pen and ink episode. Howard Quartz appeared as he was depicted in the Ro-busters story. There is also a reference to the robot haven of "the fall and rise of Ro-Jaws and Hammerstein" story (also in Ro-busters). Casualties of war thematic, dear to the heart of Pat Mills (see almost all of the Marshal Law stories) continues to be develop here.
