Story:

As it is explained in prog #1804, in order to get to Washington incognito Hammerstein has joined a war memorial. There he has been sprayed in white and immobilise in memory of the robots who died, waiting for Dedan's who's going to reactivate him in a few hours. Due to that neuro-mechanical incapacitation he can't move nor speak. Sadly for him, he has been identified by the FBI as the mark three droid prototype, and they are going to try anything they can to destroy him while he can't fight back (flame-throwers, tanks ..). But since his encounter with Deadlock Hammerstein is no longer only a technology product, and he eventually managed to reactivate himself (6 pages).

Comments:

Pat Mills evokes American's war against terrorism in that story with references to 9/11 and 7/7.
