Story:

Defoe first refuses Faust proposal, for the sake of his mates in the tower that are desperately fighting the reeks. But Faust reveals Damned past and the fact that he was the assassin who murdered the leader of the Levellers, Colonel Rainsborough. It seems to convince Defoe to accept the deal (6 pages).

Comments:

Damned is presented as a James Bond ancestor, at "His Majesty's secret service".
