Dan Dare (UK Market)

Dan Dare is originally the hero of a comic book series of British science fiction, created and drawn by Frank Hampson in 1950, and published in Eagle weekly.
The character was revived and revamped in 1977 in the first issue of 2000 AD, co-written by Pat Mills, Ken Armstrong and Kelvin Gosnell. Dan Dare has been awoke from suspended animation after two hundred years to find himself in a different world.

It has taken almost 40 years to finally get a reprint of the 2000 AD material in 2015:
