Nemesis The Warlock (US Market)

In the United States it's in 1984 that IPC through Eagle Comics has adapted 2000 AD series. As regular US comics size where not fitted to the original magazine size, even after reducing process, Kevin O'Neill was asked to rework his art on the series. Some panel were sometime re-drawn and additional art was also created. The series was also coloured (by O'Neill himself on his own art) to seduce the American market, and all covers are exclusive to this collection.

In 1986, IPC 2000 AD's material related to SláineNemesis The Warlock and other strips were published in the US under license by Dez Skinn's Quality Comics. This material was colorized for the occasion, and sometime badly reshaped to fit the regular US comics size.
In Spellbinders #1, cover date December 1986, 3 strips were adapted, Amadeus Wölf  (not a Pat Mills strip), Sláine and Nemesis The Warlock (book four, continuing right after Eagle Comics left off). Nemesis The Warlock has been published in Spellbinders until issue #12 (the title then became Scavengers as he began reprinting Flesh and Judge Dredd Material), before having its own series lasting 19 issues.
